1. HonestDrive is not promising a loan
HonestDrive currently helps collect a car-specific finance enquiry and supporting customer information. Unless separately disclosed and lawfully authorized, HonestDrive is not the lender and does not independently approve credit.
Approval, loan amount, interest rate, tenure, fees, security, insurance, disbursal, and repayment terms are decided by the relevant regulated lender or finance partner.
2. Information collected
- Identity and contact details.
- Date of birth, gender, address, employment, and annual-income information.
- PAN, Aadhaar, driving licence, and supporting document uploads.
- Chosen car, price, displayed EMI estimate, and optional insurance interest.
- Consent version, IP address, user agent, time, and withdrawal status.
3. Consent and sharing
KYC or financial data should be shared only for the purpose clearly accepted by the user and only with the named or appropriately described lender, financer, verification provider, or insurer.
Consent for a loan and consent for insurance must remain separate. Refusing optional insurance sharing must not automatically invalidate a loan enquiry.
4. Accuracy and verification
The applicant must provide accurate information and authorized documents. A partner may verify identity, income, employment, creditworthiness, fraud indicators, and vehicle information as permitted by law and the applicant's consent.
An EMI shown on HonestDrive is an estimate, not a binding offer.
5. Storage, withdrawal, and deletion
Users should be able to withdraw consent for future optional processing. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing already completed or records that must be retained by law, for fraud prevention, or to establish a transaction.
KYC or finance privacy requests may be sent to support@honestdrive.in. Retention follows our Privacy Policy and applicable law, and each partner is responsible for deletion in line with its own terms.
6. Partner documents
Before accepting a loan, the customer must review the lender's key fact statement, sanction letter, annual percentage rate, charges, repayment schedule, grievance channel, privacy terms, and cancellation/cooling-off rights where applicable.
